Guys, what will, from an SEO perspective, happen if i put a load of keywords (which are related to my website) in the footer? They are easy to rank for and i thought i could get some extra traffic. So my website would look like this: ---Header--- Article Article Article Article ----Footer----- Keywords are anchor texts which point to my website Keyword 1, Keyword 2, Keyword 3.... Keyword 1699 |

Stuffing too many keywords in the website is black hat method. It will get banned your website...

Internal (footer) links are safe - it's not considered spamming...as long as you dont overdo it. If you want to have lots of internal links, the best way to do it is contextually. That is, have all your articles pointing to each other via contextual links. Have a look how wikipedia does it. |
