For me, absolutely. I should really be better about trying to look past it, but I just can't help it...especially if it's really bad.

Strange question. Of course they absolutely do. If a company wants to represent itself as a large corporation and cannot hire a copy editor then that would instantly dismiss me as a potential client. |

Gaud YES!, Especially with women... It hardly makes your company or your site credible if you can't even use a spelling checker. Also check your grammar... What people see is YOUR image... |

YES! Isn't that obvious...When you are doing business you should be out of your txting habits and if you are and still can't spell rightly, with all the tools and help around, you are nothing. |

Spelling mistakes DO undermine credibility. I find when I go to websites and there are a lot of spelling errors, do I buy from them, not regularly.

Yep, It undermines your brand, the caliber of your business, what you represent, your personality, your professionalism, etc. It's not necessarily fair...but yes it matters. Use your spellcheck but also be sure to read through it carefully for context and grammar. |
