So I just bought: keyword.info from godaddy, but I host with ipage.com I changed the nameservers at godaddy and then 'added' the domain through ipage. From there I pointed it to a subdirectory of my home page: manifestingthemonkey.com If I type www keyword info, the address appears just like that. But if I click a post title, it goes to manifestingthemonkey.com/keyword/postname. So what I'd like to know is if I'm losing SEO value because my permalinks for my postnames are with manifestingthemonkey and not with keyword.info? Does that make sense? Thanks a lot. |

This is new to me and would myself like to listen from someone who has been through this earlier but to me yes you are losing a bit here.

Thanks for the reply. So if I do lose value, then to maximize SEO, I have to either 1) host with godaddy and buy domains from them 2) host with ipage and buy domains from them. Or am I missing something. Is there a way to buy my domain through godaddy, and then host it on ipage, but have each post URL look like keyword.info/postname ? Whoa... |

| There must be a way to do this and to be frank I am a bit surprised to hear what is happening with your domain! Told you got to listen from someone more experienced. My post is more on intuition then on knowledge!
