Default Keyword research

Hi everyone i am a long time lurker first time poster. I joined warrior forum a while ago but i am only now taking internet marketing more seriously. My question is about keyword research. I ve been researching keywords but i am kind of losing hope a bit because it seems like every keyword i research it has too much competition according to the criteria set for market samurai in the 30 day challenge. So do you have to be extremely lucky to find a keyword for a certain niche, is it really that hard to find good keywords to build a website around?

I know that the guys who made Market Samurai are smart, and the software works great and all....but it's pretty overwhelming when you take into consideration ALL that information. It led me to paralysis of analysis for WAY too long.

I've found that using just the Google Keyword Tool, and a free plugin is all you need, and then it's just a matter of DOING THE WEBSITE to see what is and what is not working.

No matter how much keyword research is done, the results never match up. Sometimes you can break into niches that look impenetrable, and other times you can't rank for "easy" terms.

It depends on which field you want to focus on! You want to get a good Google search result, you need better SEO work with nice skills, but not keywords only!

If you wish to succeed , you should use persistence as your good friend , experience as your reference , prudence as your brother and hope as your sentry. I do like this saying! Good luck! Bless! Enjoy life!

I must say I find keyword research pretty easy. I always start with a broad term and then use a tool to generate similar keywords. I then analyze each of those keywords and see how the competition stacks up. If I think I can outrank them, I will go for it.
It sounds simple put like that, but it kinda is

And you're making your site under the keywords, not vice versa. You have to look on your direct competitors, on which keywords they are moving. Good words, of course are occupied because they are good, and provide good traffic. If you are afraid of the difficulties of movement on those popular words, and in two to three times more words that are more simple, for each of them is less traffic and less competition, but all together it can provide a good flow. Do you know where to look for such information? I'm using Semrush, and advise it everybody, even though there are many services. if you're interested, look at Keywordspy, Seomoz - though they are more expensive at two times))
