$65,000 Per Month Adsense with PROOF!

Yesterday I went to my friends to watch the Mavricks OKC game. He has a 60” Sharp in his game room with reclining Theatre Seating. It’s a sweet set up. He is not an IM’r he owns several local businesses with his family. While I’m walking up to the door I see this brand new Black Corvette. I ask when he got it and he said it’s not his, it’s his friends and introduces me. I say something like nice car and he tells me that he’ll let me drive it after the game. Cool. On to the Adsense part of this story.

So I ask him what he does for a living and he says he does Telco Networking. He sets up some kind of high end switching networking equipment. I find out that he has a masters degree in electrical/computer engineering. The guy is really really smart. He asks what I do and I tell him I do IM. He kind of laughs. Anyways one thing leads to another and the game starts. Then at half time he asks me how I’m doing. I tell him I do pretty good and the different websites I own and the affiliate programs I work with then we start to talk about Adsense. I tell him that a couple of years ago it was really easy and me and my partner at the time were pulling $9-15K a month each scraping content with a few scrips. It was easy… set up a bunch of domains, run the scrip and cash the check. Then Google shut that down. And I still do pretty well… but not like that. $6-$7K is now a pretty good adsense month. (FYI – no tricks anymore, just work.)

And this is when it got real real interesting. He told me that he knows all about Adsense. I thought yeah right sure you do. I mean I’ve been doing it since 2003, I’ve made a crapload of money and this guy works full time, what could he know? But I wanted to hear what he had to say (And that’s when he made me feel like a stupid moron). We walked out to his car and he whips out his iPad. Am I the only person on the planet who doesn’t have an iPad? Anyways. He logs onto his Google Account. Holy Crap! It’s like the 20th and he has $52,500 already for the month. No SH^^. Then he shows me the past few months, $65K, $47K, $48K. He says he pulled in about Half a Mil in the past year and he could triple that but he’s kind of lazy. I was blown away, we went back in for the rest of the game. Seriously, lazy?

So after the game we get to talking some more, mostly me just asking him tons of questions. I want to know how the He_) someone who has a full time job traveling all over setting up high end networking equipment can find the time to make that kind of scratch with Adsense. And here is what he had to say.

A couple years back he had a family member ask him to put up a WordPress site for their small business. He put it up and then added a bunch of plug ins. And that’s when the lightbulb clicked on. He told me he couldn’t believe how some of the plug ins had these giant security flaws. But that isn’t when he got started. Another few months passed by and someone told him how they were making money with Adsense. So he set up his own site about networking gear to test it. And he found some Adsense Plug ins. And here is where the story gets interesting. He wouldn’t tell me how he did it, or show me anything but he told me what he does.

And it’s really sneaky, but that didn’t surprise me. And it’s very unethical, very black hat. Which also doesn’t surprise me. Why do all the people that make sic money online seem to have some trick or black hat method while the rest of us play by the rules. FYI, when scraping first came out it wasn’t against Google TOS. And people that got in on it just cashed in! Anyways. It is what it is I guess. He somehow finds WordPress sites that use certain plugins. I don’t know if they are just Adsense Plugins or if they are any plug in, or if it’s just certain plugins. I don’t’ know if it’s old WordPress sites that are not up to date, and I don’t know if it works with the new versions. I just know he does something to get in. And once “in the door” he can put his code into plugins totally covertly. And it doesn’t just take over a site. It finds the plugins with “donate” buttons. And here is the super slick part. Somehow he doesn’t just overwrite the hosts Adsense number, but he overwrites the plugin authors account number. And he doesn’t hog all the impressions just a percentage of them. And Adsense is none the wiser because they expect these rev share type plugins. The host isn’t any wiser because it’s just rev share and a lot of people don’t know how it works or that plugins often do rev share. The plugin authors don’t know because they can’t track everything to see who is doing what. Sneaky, brilliant! I don’t know how he doesn’t get caught. He didn’t explain any of the real nitty gritty details just the basics. But I do know he is making crap loads of money.

By the way the 2011 Vette is a sweet sweet ride. 2011 Chevy Corvette | Sports Cars | Chevrolet Unfortunately he didn’t actually let me drive it.

Well there you go, people do make crap loads of money with Adsense. And not everyone does it by the book. I’m sure this will make some people angry and other people envious. But what it should really do is tell you to check your stats and watch out for what plugins you use with your WordPress sites. And it doesn’t hurt to have wealthy friends who are connected to people who are smarter than you.

Now this could be a bogeyman story invented to scare little Adsense children but somehow it wouldn't surprise me if there were people out there doing that sort of thing. Provided someone could get admin panel access to a Wordpress site (which happens all the time), instead of putting up some hacker boast message they could quietly introduce just the sort of code you are talking about (any programmer with basic PHP knowledge could write that). And you are right, it would be pretty hard to detect. But it would be enough for one person to get suspicious that their Adsense impressions weren't quite matching their Analytics stats or something and to report this unknown pub ID and for the miscreants to get rumbled - quite badly too, as in, jail time... And I am not sure why he would tell ANYONE what he was doing...

Have actually read here on WF that a lot of the adsense plugins steal a little % of impressions even though they are set to share 0%.

My dad is pretty successful in life, and he lets my drive his Corvette, and it's far from a "sweet sweet ride" as you explain. The tires flick endless amounts of stones and you can hear every one hit the car. It's very bumpy and uncomfortable. You sit very low and getting in and out quickly is a huge inconvenience. When backing out of the drive way, the smallest bump, it makes us scrape the front bumper off the driveway every time. We don't drive it at night because if there was road kill that we couldn't see in the distance, it could cause serious damage to the front of the car. We were very disappointed with the car. Preferably, I prefer my buddy's Ferrari or our Jag or something.
I don't see what all the hype about the TV is. If you follow technology, you would know that in the past few years, size doesn't matter at all. We have a 60" in one family room and 50" in the other family room, and guess what? The 50" is way more expensive and way nicer to watch. Quality over quantity.

About the Adsense, yeah that's pretty black hat, and I wouldn't be surprised if he is in a lawsuit with Google within the next few months.

This doesn't work for long. I'm surprised someone hasn't manually reviewed his account yet from the Adsense Team. People who make that much on adsense are usually part of the premium partner program anyway, and then it's by invitation only. Very few publishers are part of this program. He'll get banned eventually unless it's some kind of a search engine or something...

Ive had that done to me some time last year, I was lazy and didnt keep some plugins upto date and with out me knowing someone changed all adsense units on the blog to all the "Pages" not "posts" , just the "pages" ( which happened to be a shed load around 80 because of how we structured the site.

Obviously once we had made the pages and made the template we didnt look at those pages again, we used to re-read the posts pages but they were still our ads so we didnt think any other the wiser.

It wasnt until the site really started performing well that one day i saw a massive jump in traffic to alot of the "pages" when i was going through the anaylitcs to try and milk some more money out of these higher traffic pages. Anyway thats when i noticed that the adsense ads on these "Pages" were totally different colour and a colour which i would never use EVER ! Looked at the publisher ID and they were not mine. No one else had access to the templates etc to change them apart from myself.

Never did find out how they got in , didnt give them a chance to do it again either since i updated all plugins , changed the theme , reset all cpanel , FTP and admin passwords and deleted all wordpress files and uploaded new ones .

So yeah , i can quite believe whats been said , why he would tell someone he doesnt know though is beyond me.

By putting adsense on other peoples sites you have no control over the content. What if someone decides to post a bunch of porn on their site and there is your adsense showing up, what if someone decides to click on "their" ads a bunch of times but it's actually yours. What if some newbie blatantly tells people to click on the adsense ads. You wouldn't have any control over this as you are sneaking adsense onto their sites.

LOL... Get an SUV if you want a luxurious ride, Corvette and such are built for speed. You also completely discredited yourself the second you brought up Ferrari and a Jag... Two of the most notorious cars for constantly having mechanical issues LOL... Even Frank Kern and John Reese unloaded their Ferrari's only months after first getting them due to it spending more time in the shop than in their garage.

As for the OP thanks for posting this story! I love a good "office space" tale, very entertaining. I dont have any doubt that "if there is a will there is a way" and if he truly is doing this there is no way he is the only one out there. Also start saving because you might be able to buy his car at auction when he gets locked up haha. Why is it in a lot of sales videos/letters and this very thread, people seem to just "bump" into people doing IM in some way???

I have been at this for like 5 years and I never "bumped" into anyone that even knows what an affiliate link is let alone adsense.

I live in the 3rd biggest city in the UK (Manchester) and there are lots and lots of people doing IM/online business here but I don't just "bump" into them accidentally and they then spill their guts about what their up to.

Isn't it obvious? All those gurus share their money-making ideas, even the illegal ones, because they care about YOUR success and MINE, the method will NEVER get saturated, and they only charge $37 for their ebook because they want to make sure you are serious!

NONE of my friends have any clue/idea about IM or what it is... Really... Except that it's a pyramid scheme (really some of them think that).

Anywho, if I was pullin 60k a month on auto-pilot you're damn right I'm going to brag about it... I wouldn't tell people I was hacker like this chump but you know!!

I would believe this story except for one detail: no competent blackhatter earning that kind of Adsense revenue would ever funnel that much into one account. It is just silly. If you said he had 60 accounts, each earning $1K, that's more believable.

And look, all it would take would be for ONE site that he hijacked to notice the link stuck into their code. And it would be incredibly easy to spot, because not only is the site not getting clicks, they are not getting ad impressions. Site owner provides Adsense with the ID, and poof, scammer's account is gone. And in this case, he'd probably be looking at a civil suit for damages, with Google, the site owner, and potentially all of the advertisers as plaintiffs.

Google pays very, very close attention to Adsense accounts with those kinds of earnings including regular manual reviews.
