Default I am wondering how all these great results are obtained with AMR

So I have read all the testimonials and feedback the users have given for Article Marketing Robot, and so I took the plunge and got a copy. I must be stupid or jinxed. I can't come anywhere near to the results I see others claiming.

I have registered three times with different email addresses. Two from my own domains and one from Gmail. I got 445 successful the first time, 435 the second time, and 470 using Gmail. Not very impressive with any of those attempts.

I just submitted an article to the Gmail account and got 27 articles accepted. WTF This has got to be a joke. What about all the stories about people getting their sites on the first page of Google in two or three days? I don't expect to do that well, but this is ridiculous. Wouldn't I just be as well of to pay a VA to do this?

If anyone has any feedback or suggestions, I am all ears.

The first time I registered accounts with hotmail I had 3500 registered, and I had around 1000 successful submissions ever time.

I just made a new account today and I only came up with about 2400 successfully registered, I'm running an article through them right now so well see how many successful I get, I'm thinking only around 500.

InTheMaking,

What kind of results have you seen for ranking the sites you link? I am just starting to think that I am just too dumb to handle this business as I don't seem to be able to do much of it very well. I had one success with a Google news site but like a dumb **** I sold it because i needed money. i have not been able to do it again, or anything else for that matter. It is getting real frustrating.

Maybe the water is getting a bit crowded, the people who were first in had great success but now that it has caught on it is becoming less effective.

Just my personal opinion

Tim, I told you, lose the defeatist attitude Most of us have had very hit-and-miss efforts in our IM efforts, it can take a while to figure out what works for YOU.

As for AMR signups, stupid question, you HAVE pressed 'confirm' a few times after doing the signup run? Confirmations can continue coming in in dribs and drabs for a good few weeks.

I hear your pain, so I will consider doing a new signup run asap to see if I can point to any specific steps you might have missed. I have around 1900 signups with my last run, but I am sure I did nothing special to get that... I just chose the directories carefully (did all the high-PR, high health rating ones first and worked down in several runs), but if you are just subscribing to all of them then that shouldn't make a difference!

Sorry, but I am frustrated as hell. I have had one bright spot in one long list of failures. If I had any other options I would probably quit the IM business. I try to think positive but I just keep getting kicked in the teeth.

But your success was from what I have read one to be very proud of. (I was shocked to hear you were selling it to be honest). I'd personally try and replicate what you have already done so well.

Back on topic...

You need to use a domain email address for AMR rather than a free one. Make sure you disable any spam filtering on that particular email address.

Are you using a decaptcha service? If not, get one.

Register the sites in blocks and keep checking the emails (confirm button) until new messages stop coming in. It may takes days for all accounts to be activated.

Do a decent amount of submissions before deleting failed accounts. Once you have given them a fair chance then create a custom filter for the domains that do work. This will save time in the future.

I have just over 1000 directories in my 'Good List'. I can't remember the successful submissions but I think it is close to the 1000 mark each time. I did create these accounts some months ago then and haven't tried the register process as I haven't
need to.

Check out the AMR forum for specific help and to see what recent successful registration numbers are.

The submissions really do help for long tails, especially for established domains. They aren't as great for new sites though. I use them mainly for anchor text variation and the initital boost on an established site.
