site dissapeared

Hey guy so my site used to be on page one spot 4 for my keyword and I stopped building blinks to it then after a while it dropped to page 9, so I thought no problem ill just start building more backlinks and in some time ill get back to where I was, well I got to the bottom of page 2 then my site vanished.

It still shows up for other keywords and it still appears with site:mysite.com

so since it still shows up in other places that means everything is good right? its just gonna take some time for it to come back i hope.

Its been about 3-4 days sense this happened.

Seems like a long time to have disappeared for that particular keyword. If I have a site disappear it tends to show back up in a few days with improved rankings. Did you build the links to fast for that particular keyword?

add more content and add more links

This happens all the time to my sites, they will be making $20 a day, then only making a few dollars per day. It is usually about 6 months before you can feel safe about your rankings, the first 6 months are a roller coaster ride!

i second this, more content + more links. remember to maintain your link velocity

Hey app I've been building them pretty well, but I Dont think anything huge that would raise flags

Now I went back and looked a little more in depth for my site, like I didnt see it were i left it then i check the next 50 pages and saw nothing, well today I went through every page on google and I found my site, all the way on page 58. is this good or bad?

thanks for the input everyone, but I checked on it again and im back to page 2, not really any increase in position but better then being back on page 58

Maybe you need to build more backlinks and keep adding content, wait
3-4 days more to see if your site is back again.

It only shows that there is lack of effort in optimizing your site, I would suggest that build more backlinks that are posted in related categories.

I have to agree with jhonsean, this is a lack of backinks. You need to work it out to stay in the first page of google.
