Title and Meta Description Problems

One of my sites is now on google page 2, problem is the listing appears with no Title or Meta Description.. How does this happen..? The site definitely has both.. But seemingly google is not listing either the Title or Description..just the site itself..??
Any ideas..

Did you recently update your website? If you did, then perhaps Google has not yet crawl your the site.
But if you have not update the site, then you can tel the forum for how long this has been going on, or when you started noticing this.

No I have not made any changes since completing the site about 3-4 weeks ago..
Just noticed this in the last week..when I started looking to see if the site was ranking yet..

Do yo have unique title or meta tag description for your web page. please check it first and if possible try to write unique content on web page.

you need to upload that particular page again. don't update anything just upload that page and wait for few days you will sure get the result and if possible please post your url so i can look out it carefully and can give you better solutions.

Thanks for tip about the Brown Contact Lenses link.. silly typo.. fixed now..

The page in the index is cached and I cannot view the cached page. It was from the 14th May.

I would resubmit your sitemap and all should be fine. I did actually notice looking at your source code that your meta tags aren't closed. Being that you document is XHTML they should be closed. This could be the problem.

That's not abnormal, have seen it before with new sites or pages. Just wait and try to get more links, so it gets crawled again.

If its a Wordpress site you may have a problem with your theme. I used a theme for one of my sites and the title never worked for any other page than the homepage. For some strange reason I can't get any other page indexed.

I'm blaming the theme.

Hi..Sorry I am not sure what you mean by not closed.. As far as I can see they have a closing >.. Is there more I need to do..?

Your meta tags for the description and content aren't closed. They need to be closed within a XHTML document. You can just close them like the other tags.
