Does anyone know how to get google to rescan your site for a new description tag?

Hi,

I have heard of various methods to do this but none of them work.

If i want to change my description metatag and have it displayed in a relative hurry, rather than the five or so days that google usually swings by my site, how do I do it?

any ideas?

I did this the other day, and it worked within 24 hrs...post the link of the site on your facebook profile..i changed the title tags and description tag, and worked fine for me.

I believe their spider schedule is set based on your revision frequency history, you have probably already mad content changes and pinged (I use pingler)

Spiders frequently crawl sites. But you need to make process faster then ping the changes.
