Do traffic Exchanges Work???

I am trying to promote a product. Is there a way to get some traffic to the site. I tried traffic exchanges but I don't seem to making any money. Still new to IM. Have a great product but don't know how to go about promoting it. Any ideas?

Traffic exchanges are best used as a list building and personal branding method.

If all your doing is putting a site into rotation to sell something, your going to be hard pressed to actually close the sell. Try instead giving away a product, catching there email and then follow up with them on the sell.

Some of the best I have seen that actually provide results are Thumbvu and Sweeva. If you want add me on skype and I can walk you through them.

Works but the traffic coming to your site needs to be for your niche type to make a growth in your online business.

Is your product aimed specifically at people seeking traffic?

You have to match your product to the market.

Traffic exchange traffic is highly targeted traffic, but what it's highly targeted for is "traffic-seeking advice/products", because they're all, by definition, people who want traffic, aren't they?

If that isn't what you're selling, clearly it won't be the right traffic for you. (And in any case, as observed above, you'd want to build a list first, and sell later - in other words, get traffic exchange traffic to opt in rather than trying to sell to them directly).

I'm sure people will happily offer suggestions if you explain what it is. Otherwise we'd be "guessing", wouldn't we? Which - as you've just been discovering - leads to "I don't seem to be making any money" ...

Giving a less general basis of the issues you are having would immensely help the gurus here help you out. Also, you may look for some guides on generating traffic to your site.

I just answered a similar post it was about "how to sell chess" check it out it may give you a few ideas.

In regard to traffic exchanges i can't tell you what you should or should not do but personally i would not use them for what you are selling.

I did not success with traffic exchanges, people use them always want to watch more pages, and want to increase their website or affiliate page traffic. I used to test many times with free site and get 200 pageviews, only one or two sign up, for sure they will not buy anything from you. I return to SEO games and see the increase of traffic.
