Linking between two related sites I own

I own two sites in the same niche, one I built on wordpress and host, one a designer built which is hosted with him.

The home page rank of the wordpress site is PR4 this sends traffic to my money site through a banner ad at the moment. I want to add some anchor links from this site to my money site for a particular page.

All I would like to know is

Should I just place one single anchor link on the wordpress sites home page to my key page on my money site - would this give me the best juice?
Would the link juice be devalued if I added other links on the home page or internal pages to the money site? If I do this should I target the same page of the money site for every link or should i target differnet pages?

A link with keyword anchor text fitting into the topic of the linking article should be more valuable than a banner, multiple links might be more valuable if you mix up the anchor text, again fitting the content of the article it's inserted in. I don't have any formula for not raising suspicion with the search engines.

Only have a link on one of the websites to the other you will get more link jucie, this is not a fact but what i have found out from personal experience,
