Default Can you answer my three questions about Google Webmaster Tools?

For the last two days, I've manually added about 20 do-follow back links to my website from blog commenting.

When I log into my Google Webmasters Tools account however, it only says that there are a total of six links that point to my website. In addition, none of these links are from blogs.
  1. Does that mean that my efforts for the twenty or so back links went to waste?
  2. Where did they go?
  3. What can I do to ensure that I see the back links in my Google Webmasters Tools account?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

GWT is slow (Very Slow) at updating.

Has to be the slowest product at updating, that Google owns (no joke).

It's data is not 100% accurate. Go back to that source and check whether the link is present or not. If your link is present, then within few weeks you will get in Webmasters or check in yahoo site explorer.

Ok,the links you add can be delected by webmasters of different websites! It is not weird that some links disappear!

If you wish to succeed , you should use persistence as your good friend , experience as your reference , prudence as your brother and hope as your sentry. I do like this saying! Good luck! Bless! Enjoy life!

if there was any "like" option here, then i will give you 100 likes. GWT took one month to show my sites in search results. it is very slow.

Check your links on Yahoo's Site Explorer (siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com), Majestic (majesticseo.com), or Backlink Watch (backlinkwatch.com)... nobody is 100% accurate, but Google's Webmaster Tools is the last tool I'd use for checking backlinks.
