Being in the "sandbox" is the most heartbreaking thing ever when it comes to SEO. So last month I created a new website and the niche was super profitable. I monetized the site with adsense and after 3 weeks of some SEO BS, I was ranking #8 on the first page of Google. I once had a click and the earning was a stunner. $6.13 earned. This made my adrenaline rush and I couldn't wait to reach number 1 Google. so my stupid a** brought an SEO software with pinging service in it, and 2 days later after using it on the site, It was gone. Sandboxed. Have you ever felt like a looser? I couldn't even eat.lol! It was like my pet had died. Anyway after a few days of loosing my mind, it happened to me that I did not think about this. Why don't I create another site in the same niche, new domain, everything same, but this time learn from my mistake? My sig says it all. Instead of wasting time on SEO about a site that does not exist on the Google index,(I know it's worth, but you also know IT SUCKS! backlinking a sandboxed site. Let's be real ) better stumble upon it back to the search engines during one of your boredom time. Basically I did what Google suggests SEO-wise and guess what, my new site is now ranking #4 on Google and it's making money like it's suppose to. ![]() Up until now, my first site is not out of the sandbox. I just started working on it's SEO, nothing serious, but having 2 revenue stream with the same CPC, does not get better than that, does it? So get yourself a new site and work on something you can track.(That's me though), but if you got that "heart" roll on with the sandboxed thing. ![]() Just thought I would share this simple yet effective that would save some from IM heartbreak. Thanks, Ronny. |

Hey, Can you tell me what do you mean by telling "my site was sandboxed"? Do you mean that your site is out of the Google index or you just lost your SERPs for that domain? Did you think maybe you've just earned your positions quickly because it was a new site and after its "honeymoon" ended it took its real SERP position? Cheers! |

Hi Ronny, This thread sounds like a hundred others on this forum. I believe you have simply experienced the temporary boost of QDF. No penalty, no sandbox, just a short term boost. It seems you, like so many other new webmasters, perceive the inevitable drop after that temporary boost wears off as some sort of penalty. It's not. |

I'll take your advice and hope for the best. I have a site Major Medical Health Insurance Rates | Major Medical Health Insurance It got good good traffic until December and then the Google traffic went to 0. Articles don't get indexed and for terms that I was ranked on first page...now nowhere to be found (despite bring Number 1 in Yahoo and Bing). All original content so hard to figure out. Sorry about that link. I didn't mean for it to look spammy but it came out like that. |
