Does anyone know why there are usually different SE results when using different browsers? For eg. I can use IE to search for a keyword and get 1 million hits, and maybe a specific site will be on number 3, but the same search with firefox will give you 800K hits and the same site might be on page 2. Any ideas? |

"Browser cookies"? Are you absolutely sure of that? I am not so sure, as I have even cleared my cookies in both browsers and i still get discrepancies. Any other possible ideas please? |

Browser cookies. If you want to check independent rankings without search results to affected by cookies then you can use rank checker tool from SEObookdotcom.
