Hi, I recently set up a new Wordpress site, and before starting to build links I just want to understand this non-www and www stuff. Now, if i type in my website url, using http://www.MYSITE.com and http://MYSITE.com - either way the url when the page loads is http://MYSITE.com... Does this means there is already a 301 redirect? I've not installed any plugins or done anything. And if it isnt, is there a plugin that easily does so? I've searched for plugins but it doesnt really say how to do it with a main site, only subpages ![]() Thanks! Tech |

When you first setup the Wordpress site, you had an option to input the url as a default url. Sounds like you picked the non-www version. I use non-www on all my WP sites. |
