Hello Warriors, I'm sure someone has covered this at least once (or 1 million) times, but I would like your opinion on pinging or not pinging blog comments? I've seen some who believe it's better to just let the SERPs find the BLs naturally and others who say PING 'EM! FYI: The specific BL's I'm referring to are "indexed" from OHB (which I'm sure are all PR 0) Thoughts? |

No need to ping. It will be ping automatically. Wordpress is good in that |

Pinging your comments will notify search engines of your BLs, and there are also services for indexing BLs. Letting Google discover them naturally - you're losing are a large percentage of links, especially if they're buried somewhere deep.

Okay, let's make it simple. Whether you ping it or not, Google will eventually crawl them naturally.

You shouldn't ping "it" immediately. Maybe sometime later when you're not SEOing your website you could ping the links so that your website could then pick up some of the link juice.
