Default Sandboxed or Dancing ... SEO help

(Posted in another forum but got no help at all lol)

My home page http:/xxxxxxxx.org completely disappeared on google , it was ranked 4TH ..... now the highest ranking I have is 48TH , which is a PAGE off my website.

I did a search with site:http:/xxxxxxxxx.org and i get 140 indexed pages and tags of my site , but my home page is no where to be found.

The site is about 1 years old , yahoo explorer shows 1K backlinks even though I built prolly 50K over the past month.

It's in the health niche , lots of quality articles , pictures , and videos ... no dup. content or anything.

I don't get it .... Almost all of my links are from relevant blogs , bookmarks , articles , videos , EDU links ... ect.

Hopefully it's one of those deals were it comes back stronger , but since the home page completely disappeared and the other pages and tags are still in good standing really has me confused lol.

Can any of you SEO experts give me some insight ?

thanks

I wouldn't think that's a sandbox. It might be a strongggg dance . I remember my site disappearing from the 4rd page and reappearing on the 12th page. Again after a week, it came back to 2nd page. Just hold on and keep building.

Also, check your on site optimization. If you did make changes there, the dance can be stronger.

Well , from what "I" understand ... The dance just drops your site in the SERPS and the sandbox deindexes your site from the SERPS.

If all my pages and tags were also not found in google , I would be sure I was in the sandbox ... but it seems just my home page is the only thing removed from google.

Hi,

This could be the clue;

"even though I built prolly 50K over the past month."

It's okay if you build 50K every month but not 100, 100, 50K, 100, 100 etc..

You may have just got a 50 place slap....the halfway house between sandbox and a dance.... time will tell.

Regards Allen

It went from average 5K-10K links per month , but since I added a ton of new content through the last 2 months ... i upped the links to 50K ish ... but anyways , that's what I figured just a lil "bitch" slap from google lol hopefully it will smooth over.

My health niche site went from page 2 to page 13 yesterday as well. It is frustrating fighting your way up the ranks and then getting shoved back. Hopefully its just a dance, my site is only 11 days old.

Sounds like a slap to me, I would keep on making constant backlinks to your site. I've found that is the best way to counter act Google penalties. I've had sites come right back after doing some heavy backlinking.

Since you're found in the top 100 I doubt it's sandbox it might be a reprecaussion for some link building technique but it can still rise up with some good consistent content and QUALITY link buidling. Don't over do it though take things slow for now. What I find is when you get slapped let things settle a little and don't piss off google any more.

(If you want feel free to Pm me.We have a secret sauce that rapidly blast viral traffic and SEO rankings. It's great for stucked rankings and although not confirm we believe will get out of a google dance. Of course it's more favourable to apply it prior to something like this but either way it does it's job.)

Also can I inquire what type of backlinks you had been doing prior to the drop? More importantly I'll take a guess sayign you've pinged your backlinks right?

Buckz55, this type of question gets asked here quite often. I've been working on a FAQ here at WF for what to look for when this sort of thing happens.

Check it out and PLEASE let me know if it didn't help your issue so I can add to it.
