Hi, I recently built a couple of Google Chrome extensions for one of my sites. They are both really simple calculators that I was already offering as free online (PHP page) and download-loadable (C# .Net) versions. I paid for a membership to the Google Chrome Webstore (https://chrome.google.com/webstore) which was only $5, and submitted the apps. When you submit the app you get a nofollow link to your site and you can embed links to your site in the app. I've seen a good increase in traffic and a good placement in serps for the pages that the webstore links to. I'm pretty sure I will get some good links to the apps too. Has anyone else experimented with this? |
