I have heard a lot about backlinking from sources like forums and blog commenting.

Blog commenting is really worth it ...

I am trying forum backlinking (As you Can See my Post With A Sig File)... But never tried Blog Commenting ..

What do you guys recommend ?

1. Start with the top blogs in your niche.
2. Add them to an RSS reader and check them daily.
3. Once you find a post that is interesting for you, read it and leave a meaningful comment on the topic.

It not only gives back links, it also keeps you up to date with what is happening in your industry, and it's a start in getting your name known.

It's only spamming if you throw up some meaningless off topic crap just to get a link. If your comment is related and actually provides some input to the discussion it's not spam and I think most blog owners actually appreciate it. Do it the right way and it's a great link source.

1) how do I know that she is really working?
2) What are the measures used for payment? ( should she submit to me the links where her comments appeared? But what if she commented but was denied?)

Blog commenting is good if the site in question is an authority site, and ofcourse since the search engines love blogs, leaving comments on relevant blogs with a link back to your site is an easier way of getting backlinks, compared to say writing articles

The problem is that most of the blogs are nofollow and this is the source of problem. You can work harder to find proper blogs and when you found one, add it to your favourite list.
