Tools to Analyze, Research & Confirm Backlinks

What tools are you using to verify, confirm and analyze your backlinking efforts?
I think we all know that backlinks are necessary for rankings and site growth among Google, Yahoo and Bing -- most important for Google.

However, I have yet to find a quality tool that will count, create a report on and verify or analyze the backlinks that are pointing to your site.

At this point, I do not think that Yahoo Site Exporer is an effective tool. Especially when it has been discontinued and not even being recognized anymore by Yahoo.

What tools are you all using?

I use seo spyglass and backlinkwatcher.

still keep on using seo spyglass. initially got worried about it because of site explorer kickin the bucket but then found out from their support that the tool uses something like 15 other sources and backlink services. backlink quality has been unchangeably good thus far.
