So, there are so many blogging platforms now, Squarespace, Wordpress, Blogster, etc. But as far as getting traffic, which one is the best? I know wordpress has a high PR, but I've heard it's easy to get your blog taken down. Squarespace has a good PR as well, plus it integrated Social Media really well. What do you think? The blog will mainly be to point traffic to my main page

Wordpress and Blogger are both good, however you can lose your blogs for no apparent reason, that's one of the drawback of free offering on the internet. If you are serious about an online business you need to stop looking for all things free and invest in yourself Pick up a domain name and hosting and then add wordpress to your own domain then you can write a nice blog without it being shutdown. |

Definitely blogger because it is ranked higher on alexa which means it's easier for you to rank well in search engines especially Google which owns blogger.

1) Wordpress 2) Weebly (on your TLD and not for their subdomain) 3) Joomla Tumblr is also gaining popularity but they don't provide any platform to use on your own domain/hosting. I just hate blogger because big "G" can delete it anytime. |

The SEO differences between them all are negligible. And if you're using the free versions why not use them all and test your results? But to answer your question, I say go with Wordpress or Blogger. Wordpress is built better IMO and Blogger is owned by Google so there's bound to be quicker turn around on indexing new content. Again, it's probably negligible. |

I just switched from a free Blogger to a paid Wordpress site. If you have any doubt in your mind that your blog may be deleted by Google for whatever reason just skip a whole lot of hassle and pay for your own domain/hosting with a wordpress site.
