Dumb question about backlinking

I'm looking for a wordpress plugin that shows the url/html of the page/site. The url can be used by other webmasters so they can link back to my site.

It should be very easy but i have tried to search for it but i can't find it.

Not sure what you mean, but if somebody is reading your content that they want to link back to then they just copy your url in the address bar.

If they wanted to link back to your site they would just copy the URL from the address bar as alistair said. Is that what you mean mate?

do you mean the plugin that shows html code with your link in it?

Perhaps you are referring to permalinks and how they are configured - found under Settings in the wordpress dashboard.

I want to remind other site owners of linking back to me by showing a link. (maybe it helps a little bit )

Yes, i see it all the time on sites like free image hosting videosites etc. but i have no idea how to search and find a good plugin. Does anyone know a plugin for (automated) showing the url for content on a particular page?

I have found "Intelligent Traffic Generator 0.4.3." but its for sharing a photo and is still in beta.

Anyone here who can help me find a plugin for showing the url embed code on every page? (i really can't find it)

Why not use the standard "share this" plugin?

I think this might be what you are looking for, it is a "link to me" plugin that reminds the the reader to copy and paste the url of your post: Link to Me Textbox WordPress Plugin

The share this plugin is better for sharing on other (social)sites. At the moment i already use the addthis plugin that works about the same as the share this.

I have installed the "Please Link 2 Me" plugin and it works fine :-) This is not the same plugin as the Link to Me Textbox WordPress Plugin. Couldnt find it but when i was searching i finally found the Please Link 2 Me plugin..
