Feeder sites MORE money and traffic - are you making them?

If you have an authority website or blog you have the perfect tool to do market research within your niche and find what people are searching for and what keywords are easy to rank for.

Here is what I did

I have a website in the dog niche that ranks fairly well, I paid a writer $3 an article to write 50 articles about a large number of topics, mostly all product related or service related. I posted one article a day for the next month and a half and then waiting two months.

Then I checked google analytics to see what articles were getting the most traffic

Some posts were getting 20-30 visitors a day and they were near the bottom of google's first page

Creating feeder sites
Now that I knew about a few topics that get a lot of searches and decent traffic from just one post I created niche sites about each of these topics. I monetized the sites with adsense to make EASY money, and also backlinked to my authority site to build PR, quality backlinks and boost my search engine rankings

A few of these sites now make $10 a day or more and send a nice amount of traffic constantly to my main website

Thats a great method but did you spend a lot of time on the feeder sites like on backlinking and all.

I take a few days to a few weeks, on them but only putting in a few minutes per day

• First day register the domain, add wordpress and a few basic pages
• Next day add some articles, post one and schedule a few more
• Now outsource for a few articles to be written
• outsource link building
• Wait a week or so doing nothing, then check the ranking
• If things are going well maybe add a bit more content and get some quality links by outsourcing some article writing and submission
• Spend about $50 on link building / outsourcing but the sites make that money back in no time

but does the feeder sites hosted in the same server as the authority site ?
