I think that making your username your anchor text screams spam. I think that a signature link along with a good comment would be the best way to get a comment approved. What do you think is the best way to place your anchor text on a blog comment? Thank you. |

I agree, I try to just use my own name. The other thing that I look at is the comments that got approved before me. If they have let others do it then I will as well. Anytime that I use anchor text, I make sure that the comment is very relevant and something that contributes to their blog instead of just something simple. Many blog owners will let you get by with anchor text if you are contributing something to them and their readers.

IF you are going to do this, you should research old threads where people specifically mentioned the success or not they have had with different methods.
