On an insurance site I built that gets a few clicks per week it had two clicks and made me $14 I know most clicks are around $1 so I think there was 1 $1 click and another $13 click

The most was like $10.41, and it just trickled down from there... but it was good while it lasted.

Interesting subject, and I don't know my answer to the question. But the trouble with these clicks is that they are few and far between. I always used to try for the high dollar amounts when doing my articles. But one day I was getting $0.14 clicks from a couple of articles. I had over 1,500 clicks that day to those articles and made well over $200 from those two. I will take those $0.14 clicks in that volume over any $3-$9 or more clicks when you will only get one of them, any day.

You are absolutely right, that would be nice. I think you would stand more chance of selling a $7 product that many times than getting that many clicks on AdSense.

Wow, can't beat that! I got a click for $26.04 last month. The niche for that one was is in the business and finance niche, along the lines of 'careers in banking'.

The CPC's you see reported by the keyword tools and high-paying keyword lists are a complete myth. Those are the amounts an advertiser would pay for an ad on the Search Engine Results Page.

This is completely unrelated to the amount you can expect to earn on your site.

Due to some quirks in the bidding process, there are some occasional high paying clicks, as pointed out here. These are an anomaly. I have never seen any ads that consistently pay more than $4 per over time.
