Don't you think that writing content for your sites would be better than writing content for someone else's sites would be a good idea anyway?

Submit your articles to sites that rank high for your keywords. Hitching a ride with the top sites is just as good if not better for laser-targeted traffic. And, it's a lot less work than trying to rank all your own sites. |

I think it still works, it is just not as easy as it used to be since soooo many spammers are doing it.

I prefer to use articles to build backlinks, but I have seen some from Ezine Articles and Buzzle ranking highly for some competitive terms - but they had many more backlinks than the the sites round them so I think it is harder to get them to rank than a site you build and optimise yourself. As Rich Struck said, it's better to build up sites that you own and have control over. If they become successful you could sell them one day too! |
