Help....Strange (black hole) adsense happenings

I have an adsense business model and I am stumped. I am driving traffic to the site through PPC and I am also using crazy egg to track visitor visits.

example....i am charged for 89 clicks to the landing page, the crazy egg heat maps confirms the numbers are close. However, I am tracking the adsense channel and it only shows 4 impressions. Obviously something is seriously wrong. I have...

replaced the adsense code on the page (2 of them) several times.

Once it's changed, I see some impressions. However, the same thing happens the next day. I have never seen this before. what happened to the other 92 clicks (that were recorded by the heat map) from the PPC campaign that recorded no impressions.

It's as if the customers fall in the black hole between the time they hit click on the ad and should be making an impression on the page for adsense tracking. Again, crazy egg heat map confirms they make it to the landing page....What am I missing here?
