Default Need your opinion - is imautomator worth it?

Hi warriors!

Ran across imautomator.com in another post and decided to check it out - seems like exactly what I was looking for - it slowly posts feeds and articles to automate backlinks. I know the panda update has negated some of the content farms and article directories, and would like to know what you think about this type of service. Has anyone used imautomator? What has been your experience?

Thanks!

Personally, I would steer clear of any type of automated link building system. It's not worth the effort because when Google catches on and slaps your site, all the real work you might have put in will be washed down the drain.

Case in point, I had a well established, 5 year old site that was getting nearly 10K hits per day from Google. I put a lot of effort into that site over the years. A few years back, I ignorantly tried an automated link building system to increase my backlinks and it worked for about 6 months. Since then, my site has been sandboxed by Google and I only get a fraction of the traffic I used to, mostly from return visitors and fans of the site. Otherwise, it's dead in the water as far as SEO is concerned.

I'm not promoting anything

I have used it and am not seeing any results with it at all. When cheking the bookmarks they created I could not find 8 out of ten.

If you sift through their list of sites the post to youŽll see tha they are mostly duplicates of each other sitting on the same IP address. Which dies nothing for you in terms of diversification.

Lastly, there entire network was down for days because they had some trouble wiht their hosting provider.

Dunno, costfree... yes. Effective? Not for me.

I try it with many times and it is not a good tools. The bookmarking they use have low page rank, low traffic. You can use this time to manual submit to digg, stumbleupon, it may have more better results.

The free version did not produce any results for me, but haven't tested the paid version and don't plan to.

I thought IMautomator was white hat? Does this mean that social monkee is also not within Google's guidelines as that is automated?

Been using it for about a year. Works OK but the links are low value.
Would be very suprised if the guy above who got sandboxed was a result of IM automator. If that was the case, I could post my competitors site on it and get them sandboxed. It would more likely be sites that he is linking too that got him sandboxed.

I dont think now is the best time at all to try to use any type of automated link building software or service....

Especially with all of the updates going on.
