Default Is this a good keyword phrase to use?

This isn't the real keyword in my niche but the one I want has similar stats so if you have a passion for pumpkin seeds be my guest and use this lol.

The keyword phrase in my example is "pumpkin seeds recipe" the stats are like this

As you can see it has 12,100 global searches per month and google keyword tool says the competition is low. The search results bring up 39,800 for exact search and 1 adword ad, however for "pumpkin seeds recipe" the whole first page seems to be an authority site. The keyword phase I'm thinking about has maybe the first 3 results as authority sites and no adwords ads. The keyword phrase I'm interested in has stats close to the ones above and still has .com .net and .info available to purchase. Basically I'm wondering if I get this exact domain name if it will be possible to get it on the top of the first page?

Thanks!

Default Re: Is this a good keyword phrase to use?

I'm not really familiar with any recipe niches but I did hear word (a couple weeks ago) that Google is going to revamp and promote their Google Recipes Search. So I am guessing that maybe when you add "recipe" to the end of a keyword phrase, Google identifies that as a recipe inquiry and therefore presents results from its Google Recipes Search?

Just a guess but maybe if you research that a little more you will find what you are looking for. If you do buy that domain name, I am sure there is a way to "submit" it to the Google Recipe Search and whatnot. Anyway just some thoughts.

Good luck!
