Adding adsense above latest post in wordpress

Hi guys, I have a site that displays latest post.

I find if I put google ads in the content, and have full content displayed on the homepage, there's too much adsence if I've more than 2 posts, and my adsence tower dissapears.

How can I put an adsence block above my latest post... do I need to go into the editor and put the code in there somewhere?

yes, you need to go to editor and just add div about latest div...

This should be simple, for preview of current status you can use firebug plugin for firefox for example

Quick Adsense plugin is a WordPress plugin I would recommend.

There are two things that need to be edited. One is Page Template "page.php" andother is Single Post "single.php".
This have to be done if you would like add to be visible on posts and pages, if not use just one.

There are plugins that could do it, but for me it is better to do it manualy, i have more control this way

You want to block the ad on home page and display it in single page, right? Try All in One Adsense and YPN. Nice plugin can help you manage adsense and YPN ads.
