I have read posts about how 'nofollow' doesnt help your site rank. Do they mean 'pagerank (PR)' or "SERP" in this case? Hell, i have even read people saying 'nofollow' is just a myth. I am kidnda confused. So in general, if 'nofollow' doesnt help you rank AT ALL, does that mean all my scrapebox blast are pointless? (i dont really care about pagerank, i just want my site to rank higher in local search). Please advise. Thank you. |

nofollow links are good in the sense that they let google understand that you're not a spammy guy sucking high PR site links only. When you start mixing nofollow along with high PR dofollow, it kinda looks natural to google. No, nofollow doesn't pass any PR juice. It's more about making your backlinks look natural.

It's not supposed to help from a search engine perspective. However, no follow links are good if you can use them to get natural traffic who click on your link to ur blog or website.

the only use of nofollow is someone clicks on your name and visit your site. anyway why bother with nofollow links instead google backlink pack and you will get backlinks URL use those and build backlinks for free. |

no-follow is not giving you as much link juice as do-follow, but they are must have to make it look more natural.

Link juice is very important thing and no-follow site don't give you this therefor to get link-juice you should use do-follow ever.

nofollow will help your rank, nofollow just doesn't pass PR and frankly PR doesn't mean **** anymore unless you're going to sell links. It's good to keep a somewhat "natural" looking footprint with a mixture of do follow and no follow. |

Mixing no follow and do follow is consider a smart move as it will not let google think that you are a spammer seeking for high pr do follow links only =)

A nofollow link show that the link giver site don't have faith on the link taker site, then it will not pass link juice. SO it will not help you to get higher ranking in SERP.
