The current theme I'm using doesn't get a lot of people to click on it. A CTR of <1% so I decided that I would buy the Thesis theme since it looks like a really nice looking theme. My question is what kind of CTR are you guys getting from using this theme? I know it has to be a lot better than what I have going on right now. Also if I just suddenly change my theme from my current one to Thesis will I be lowered in SERP and have to wait to see it come back? |

Just put a 336x280 Adsense block left aligned on your post/page and you should get a CTR of around 8-12% if your advertisements are targeted, i.e. your niche is good enough. P.S.: The CTR has nothing to do with Thesis or any other theme, any theme can have a great CTR if the ad placement is done correctly. I personally own and manage hundreds of sites, and every time hover around the mark of 7-13%, irrespective of the design I have. It depends on how well you place the Ad codes and how it blends (whether contrasting or blending), inviting or hiding, etc. |
