| You should direct the backlinks at the website of the business that is located on the google places page, instead of the google places page itself. This is one of the tricks to getting the places page to rank highly within the 7 pack for your keywords.

One of the tricks with Google places is the connection with the clients website. It is not spoken about very much, but Google places will actually pull the keywords from the clients website and show the keywords and description in the places description. Now we are back to SEO 101. Focus on the clients website. ***Try and match up the Website Keywords with the Google Places keywords.... |
