Best Search Engine For SEO Internet Marketers

So if you are an internet marketer and particularly in the seo arena then you know that after you search from your ip address over and over again, a pattern will develop and you will eventually see some what odd results. I know that I have experienced that and especially when I don't log out of our gmail account. But the thing about Google is that some times your ip address will be tracked while searching, this is not good if you are trying to do seo queries and make sense of your rankings.

So what are we to do? Use a search engine that is free, of course. And use a search engine that pulls the same data from google because hello, that is what I want to rank in. And use a search engine that I can see real results instead of a patterned created results page.

But where do I turn to now? Startpage.com I heard about this search engine some time ago and I love it.

No IP address recorded.
No record is made of your searches.
No identifying or tracking cookies used.

It still uses google results which rocks because I can do hundreds of queries and now that it won't be a patterned created search results and then I know for sure that I am ranking. Of course ip address of location of search plays a factor but we are talking here about niche keywords and terms, not like barber shop abc state or anything location based. But we are talking about weight loss terms, forex, computers, etc,etc

P.S. Plus this helps me to keep from having to log out of gmail every time.

You can also use the Scroogle Scraper for unbiased results, without your IP being tracked.

Hadn't heard of this one. I use Scroogle too but I still can't figure out why its results differ from, say, when I search with HideMyAss. My sites are consistently shown some 5-10 places lower by SS than HMA, or SEScout which I am using a little too. I am guessing different datacentres, or something like that, but I basically have to go with the more pessimistic ranking - no point getting carried away if you are still on p2, no matter what a tool tells you. Especially if the traffic isn't happening.
