Hi all, Just wanted to check up with you folks on how much should a SEO campaign cost intended to re-position a two phrase 30,000 searches per month keyword in the major three SERP's? I intentionally wrote "re-position" as the site/page in question was already in position 2-4 in Google for this term but has now slipped. Thanks all, |

I think the campaign should depend on the quality. You know Google would consider the quality of the backlinks more!

Thanks for the replies. I don't plan on doing this myself (well I can throw in my own efforts via say forum signature links) but the grunt of it would be done by someone else. I realise quality links are optimum or rather a mix of various types of links. I was hoping to get a price range to work in. I could probably do more myself but the articles I put up on Ezine are rarely copied with the links intact and end up on spam sites. Without the links they're no use as they get little coverage (not because of the poor writing mind you). Google's latest update has caused the latter to get very fussy in positioning a page. I used to be position 2-4 for the term, now it's decided to drop to first 6, then 7, then 6 again and now 9. It's not a spam website so I guess Google doesn't like the links pointing to it all that much. |

It's depend on the work and quality? Campaign should depend on the quality.

InternetAchiever, As I'm sure you're aware this would be dependent upon the keyword itself. Some keywords with 30k searches a month would be next to worthless, others worth $100,000+ to rank under. If you like I could do an analysis for you, just drop me a PM. |

How can I find keywords that everyone considers worthless and thus don't target them? |

The question is not what you should be paying but what is your budget and goals? When you come up with a budget you can then create a campaign to match your finances. If I say you should be paying $50,000 can you afford that? No one can tell you what you should be paying. |
