Long Tail Keywords, is it working for you

I am thinking of buying a lot of domains with a long tail keywords
buying some articles and putting adsense

Anybody have tried this ?
I don't want to loose my money
advices please

Have not tried and will never try this.

I would recommend against. Build one authority site and target 1 or a few keywords per page. Title tag is almost equal to emd.

Sounds like a cool idea..so consider....

you dont want to lose money...
so, how are you controlling your risk? (loss of money)
do you have any adsense experience?
- this is important because if you dont, then it'll take time to learn how it works. if you've paid for all of the domains and hosting, then you've tied up your money in non performing 'infrastructure' while you're learning
how are you going to build traffic?
- this is key because .. to get people to spend money on your sites, you need eyeballs, and eyeballs come from traffic. like before, if no experience, then you'll need to learn how to generate traffic, which takes time.
- also, if you are learning, then putting money into your tools will make more sense ... than into domains which are just sitting there.
where's your monetization coming from? PPC? Adsense?
- no monetization = eating ramen for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next 2 years.
what's going to be on each site to get clicks? ...content
- this is important, because if your visitors dont see anything that looks credible, then they arent going to convert. And no conversion means... no income.
- content is what helps put them over the top and convert. Will you write your own? that takes time. Will you outsource it? that takes money.... that's tied up in domains that are waiting for content.

Really, like the other poster WebHostingRVW mentioned, it makes alot more sense to start small, get all the pieces worked out, and then ramp it up once your confidence is in place.
