Hey all, Forgive me if this has been asked before, it seems like it would be common question, but I haven't been able to find an answer. If I have a micro niche site that I set up, and I want to keep the exact match domain name for SEO purposes, but I want a broader url for users so I don't have to pigeon hole myself into only that micro niche and have the ability to expand(obviously in the same niche), could I forward with masking and still benefit from the exact match domain bump. Hypotheical situation: If I was targeting the dog bed niche, and targeted the keyword "suede dog beds", so suededogbeds.com , but I want the possibility to expand and encourage my users click to other posts once they got on my site, could I then forward that to another domain i own, dogbeds.com, or would that hurt my SEO? Thanks all! |

you must use 301 redirect when forwarding for seo optimization purposes
