I use Wonder Wheel (as long as you turn instant search off) which does the trick for me but I think you can over think the whole LSI thing. As long as you write good relevant copy, your natural writing flow should cover appropriate content and wording relating to your main keyword(s)

If you want to spend a little bit of money you could pick up Clickbump Engine's SEO! plugin. It's a tool similar to SEO Pressor designed to optimize your on page content but one of the features it has is that it automatically gives you a list of the top related semantic keywords based off your main keyword phrase. I picked it up recently to use for seo optimization but the LSI aspect is what I get the most use of. I'm not affiliated with it at all but I'd recommend it for quickly finding your LSI keywords. Just an option.

I use my brain and common sense (when my brain works properly ). You see, sometimes Google creates a death trap with the use of "related" keywords and the wonderwheel. Yes, a trap. Why? Cause LSI's (whatever is this ...) are not RELATED keywords, no no no. Example: Surboards Related keywords: new surfboards, used surfboards, buy surfboards, sell surfboards. etc etc You think these are "LSI's"? They're not. These are related searches. But these ones "can be" LSI's... or whatever you want to call it: beach sand barrel fins deck chop wax and so on. Hope this example is enough. Fernando |

Web Content Studio is good for this. It's expensive, but it should easily pay for itself. I've used it to write articles that rank for hundreds of terms.

Dang you Charlie, I didn't know I needed that plugin until you wrote about. I like the sound of it not having to re-write every page!

| Sorry about that Rusty! I know how you feel. I bought the plugin and then ended up buying his them package too. He's got a 60 day guarantee so at least you can try it out and see if it pays off.

To help illustrate the point, the ClickBump SEO! application sits beside your post/page editor. Whenever you want to pull a list of LSI keyword/phrase matches, click the "Get LSI" button. ![]() Above: SEO! highlights the LSI keywords and phrases that you already have in your content (green) as well as the terms you should consider using (gray) to increase your content's relevancy ranking score with the search engine... What happens when you click the GET LSI button: Using Ajax processing, in real time, without forcing you to leave the post/page editor, SEO! goes out and analyzes the top ten ranked pages for any given search term, and compiles a list of the most commonly used terms across those pages. It then returns the keywords in a comma delimited list that you can copy/paste into your content or your Tags collection. It takes less than 2 seconds to compile and return this list. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have. | |

I'm going to buy that product Clickdump, because I've got performance issues and the other of the other like product that is more famous than yours has failed to respond to three support tickets. Deleted them!

Just bought clickbump seo - looks really good, replaces seopressor which I've had some issues with lately. One quick question, when I click on the get lsi button it takes ages and doesn't seem to be doing anything...? |

Ideally, how many LSI keywords should you include on a page which has about 300 words of content? Also, do you need to repeat your LSI keywords a number of times so they have a good keyword density or should you just include the LSI keyword once? |

I use Web Content Studio, which is a software program. Some people have speculated that the Wonder Wheel is sort of like a honeytrap. I haven't seen any evidence of that but who knows? |

Note that the Yahoo Boss API server has been shutdown and access to the LSI keywords is no longer available. This affects a huge range of products and services that use the API to grab LSI keywords. |
