A little story about Youtube videos. My brother does professional video editing offline. Over the last few months he has been posting a bunch of short videos (comedy) on Youtube. I was looking at his stats for one of his highest viewed videos & found one of the sites on the Failblog network picked up his video & embedded on their site. That one embeded video had 16,000+ views from the Failblog network page, in a single day. Not bad! That was one of 11 sites that picked up his video. Views bottomed out at almost 135,000 views. Bottom line, that Failblog network of sites gets a $hit load of traffic! |

I keep telling him at the very least slap up a few Clickbank affliate links, in the video description + a link in the video. He is worried he'll get his account shutdown. He already had one out of three accounts shut down. Really he is doing a lot of testing to see what will draw views. I started this thread just as a heads up on the free traffic. Heck at 1% (160) sales isn't shabby If that traffic was monetized. Once you drop off the front page of those sites, traffic/views tank. | |
