Hello, I just got my first site finished and wanted to try out a little google adwords. Got my add and everything all set up but it's showing my ad as being "Disapproved" the reason listed is "Site Policy". Before I go messing around with my site I thought I would check and see if anyone on here knows what I need to change to be compliant with googles "site policy". Another question...should I change anything on my site just to please google and experiment with adwords or should I leave it alone? Any help is appreciated. Site is howtoflattenyourstomachfast dot net Thanks! |

You should familiarize yourself with google's ad policy. Read through it and then you should be able to answer your own questions. |

You popup opt-in box would probably be a big no-no, might be classified the same as exit pops. Human reviewers might question the readability of the privacy and contact links. And the overall content (8 pages) might be considered a bit 'thin' I fear a lot of their ranking is actually based on the products your affiliate links go to, big G is not the affiliate's friend. |

I don't see a link to your privacy policy or your terms of service. If memory serves, Google requires those. Increasingly I am under the impression the FCC expects to see them too. And the links should not be in small type, but the same size as the rest of your standard text.

Oh wait. At the top. But didn't show well until I moused over. Maybe Google didn't see either? And still no terms of service as far as I can tell ... |

its probably because its a bridge site which means a site that has only one purpose to send traffic to another without any informational and quality content. Most affiliate sites are like that. If you want to 'by-pass' that, you can add an opt-in and make your traffic go thru there. It works. |
