Default Article Ranks Question?

Ive been using article ranks for a few months now. Their website said you should expect anywhere from 20-300 links per article. Ive submitted about 100 articles and only a handful of them have gotten more then 20 links and the ones that did are like 20, 21, 23 nothing major. The rest are in the teens. Also its not that they are getting rejected the acceptance rate on each article is great it just seems like they're only getting distributed to about 20 sites each. Anyone else seeing this? Is anyone getting more distribution then what I am seeing?

Thanks for sharing the input, I had actually wondered the same thing. I did over a hundred submissions as well and over the course of two months they all had from 3-15 links :/

Some of the articles weren't all that great, but some were of very high quality and still weak results.

Ya unfortunately I haven't had the best experiences with ArticleRanks either. I'm getting around 20-30 or so per article and they are generally from very poor blogs/sites.

I guess i'll take what I can get. I mean im paying $30 a month and compared to the other blog networks thats nothing. I wish we could here from the owner of article ranks. I know he's on this forum. Claims of 20-300 links per article are greatly exaggerated and shouldn't be advertised as such. Its just bad business.

I'm not so sure that's the best attitude - you should get what you want. I've had comparable results with other similar and more expensive services. They're each a bit different, but most underdeliver. My advice is to get a copy of AMR or pay a bit more per month than AR and use UAW.

I'm trying out "Distribute Your Articles" right now, pretty good so far, I'll let you know how things go.

Hello,

I am a newcomer and according to me try to put some quality content in your articles which can provide all the market driven information for the reader to make him understand well.Articles are the bet source of information for any one who just want to know about any particular topic. So always keep in mind that what you are providing for the user must be user friendly.

Hmm.. the numbers quoted in this thread seem low to me. My articles are usually published around 30-40 times, but some much more than that. My most published article is at 84 currently.

Hi Guys

Let me cover a few points as to why distribution numbers are low for a few members, the points below are probably the main reasons.

We have however just adjusted the algothirm to publish faster and better, as it was getting a little sluggish TBH - We also have some big changes happening in the next couple of days

1. Removal of the ‘All Categories’ selection. As most of you are probably aware, we removed said feature a few months back. This was to decrease category spam and in turn increase the integrity of our network. What a lot of members were doing in the past was to submit their articles to the ‘All Category’, which immediately published their article in 10-20 subcategories. As you may have guessed, this resulted in spam and as such we had to remove this. However, some users are currently complaining and only submitting their article to one sub category. Articles should be crafted in such a way as to fit into multiple sub categories (which is free).

2. The spin percentage of some user’s articles was (and still is) very low. If, for example, you’re only spinning your article up to 150% then it won’t be placed on higher quality sites, and overall will be published a lot less. In light of this we have now given our users the ability to increase the spin percentage on an article anywhere up to 300% (we recommend spinning your article somewhere between 200-300%).

I have over 400 articles in AR. They have a lower distribution rate so articles distribute over a longer period.

The higher your percentage of rewriting, the better. I would recommend shooting for 100% or higher. Each of my articles is spun sentence-by-sentence with 3 spins and the AR system shows the percentage between 150% and 400%. My average acceptance rate for articles is 95%.

I would say the total distributions per article are down somewhat in the last couple months. My highest distributions are over 200, but those are the original ones I added to the system in 2010. I swear some of those are still delivering!

There is a significant increase of AR price!

Even though I've paid for my membership recurring, but I'm not able to submit any articles now and it prompt me to upgrade to $89.95 package

A bit ridiculous to impose 5 domains limit in sudden to existing active membership.

Yea Article Ranks made a really bad business decision this week. They completely screwed their existing members by having a price lock guarantee and then throwing that out the window. If someone wanted to challenge that legally they'd probably have a case but who's gonna do that, its just not worth it.

The worst part is the terrible way in which they are reacting to their customers. On their blog they sound like adolescent babies. "Well if you don't like it you can cancel your membership"..."No matter what you people say we won't change anything blah blah blah" Like the kid who's taking his soccer ball with him and going home. You made a promise to your customers and you completely caved on the promise. As a business it makes them look terrible and their compassion to their customers has been god awful.

I also think the whole description of changes is difficult to understand. I have no idea what im getting now. Facebook and Twitter intergration? What does that do? It says they build bookmarks now. How many? To every article? For how long? A once good service has shot itself in the foot. I will most likely be canceling at the end of the month and jumping ship maybe to UAW. I already use Build My Rank which is the cream of the crop but a different beast. I would love to hear from the Article Ranks team about what the hell they think they're doing and what these changes actually mean.

Yep also very disappointed. No more than 20 published for me either after they said it would be up to 400.

Cancelled my subscription already.

I cannot trust their so called "guaranteed on price freeze".

Not sure whether they understand what is "guaranteed".

If no decision from them to honor their previous "guarantee", I'm going to cancel my membership too.

$89 per month allow me to get additional 100 posts to BMR

When they say that you're article will be distributed to 20-300 submissions, they could be referring to how many categories you submit to. If you only use one category, then you will probably get around 15-30 submissions. If you use 10 categories, then you will get around 150-300.

However, additional categories cost extra money or credits.... so most people (myself included) only submit to one category and are disappointed with the distribution result.

As for the recent membership changes. This has been the worst experience I've had with any subscription service. I logged into my account today and tried to submit an article. I spent the time to spin the article, embed links and pressed submit. Of course, I was rejected because of a 5 domain limit that I wasn't even aware of.... Found out the new changes they made. Total disrespect to existing customers.

It wasn't harsh at all. This has been one of the most disrespectful business moves I have seen by any company ive dealt with in the SEO world. Not only is it disrespectful but its blatant bait and switch which is illegal.

Hi

Can we reiterate the price was not increased, the price for the starter package has not been adjusted AT ALL - Whether the PRO plan was introduced or not we would have still applied a limit as it needed to be done.

EXACTLY like SEOLV applied a daily submission limit etc we have also done the same. I do not think you know how hard it is to manage and scale a network and when people are abusing it action has to be taken

Fine, some people may not of been abusing the system and we knew it would hurt some honest people, the domain limit has been increased to 10

We stand by our comments on the blog.. Are our customers speaking respectful to us? Respect works two ways, there is no need for customers to get angry we opened that thread up for discussion as we wanted feedback, not to get attacked.

Hi Musa, I appreciate the increase to the 10 domains limit. I like AR and I'm getting good results from it, especially with the number of articles published. I know changes in services like AR is inevitable. I just hope we get notified of these major changes in advance and not on the exact day they will be implemented.
