Default Experienced SEO Pro's only

Thanks for your time, and effort in helping me with this website.

I recently had a site receiving 100% SEO traffic, listed on page 1 for a very compeitive keyword.

Site pulled 5k a week at max, 3-4 avg.

It was basically a landing page SEO'd to death, on and off page.

Was similar to the Copeac/FTC issue, and could have easily been involved...

I am in the process of revamping the site (couldn't in time of course) however i'm wondering whether it's worth doing.

Was receiving 6-7k hits a month from the big G1 steadily...

Completely gone from that engine, and receiving no traffic. 5k - $0 weekly

Is this site doomed by ggggleee now? with no chance of reclaiming my rankings? Like I'm expecting...

Thanks,

Nick

Default Re: Experienced SEO Pro's only

SEO pros charge an arm and a leg for their services, sorry, you'll have to settle for us

You are presumably aware that a site disappearing from the SERPS is a pretty common occurrence, especially if it's new. You also know if you ask 10 SEOers why it happened you'll get 10 different answers. Also you are aware that such sites very often bounce back just as mysteriously after a while, and that just now there's some pretty weird stuff going on in the SERPs. Most of us are holding tight right now to see what happens. If I had to guess though, if you have made big changes to your content recently that could definitely cause a drop while Google reeavluates your site, and then a bounce-back. But right now G seems to be "reevaluating" the entire Interwebs, so it's anybody's guess really. Hold tight, I think is the best advice anyone can give you right now.
