Hey guys, I am trying to clean up some small posts on my blog and have re-written a topic to replace an out-dated topic (which is currently sitting #3 in google SERPs). My idea was to make a new post and 301 redirect the old post to the new post. However, I have 19 comments posted that are very useful, and don't want to lose. I can't find a wp plugin too support 3.1 wordpress. So how do I move comments? Or should I just replace the old article with new article and forget moving comments? Problem is, if I only 'edit' the old post, it won't blast an email out to my feedburner subscribers... Plus, I don't want to lose my position in SERPs for editing a post, though, with my luck, my site will go from #3 to sandbox like 65% of my other high-quality pages did after the Farmer/panda update. Google hates me! |
