Subdomains and domains

Hello Warriors,

I'm having a dilemma and I'm wondering if some of you already have been into this situation.

I have a website with good content, but so far with kind of bad luck in terms of SEO, maybe product of some mistakes I made in the past, the site is getting visitors but very slowly.

I would like to promote a clickbank product related to my site's niche.

So, my question is about what path to take:

1. Buy a domain with the clickbank product's related keyword, create a wordpress site and base it on the main keyword.

or...

2. Create a subdomain just like http: / / keyword.myniche.com, create a wordpress blog and base it on the main keyword.

If I take the option 2, is this good or it is an abosolutely don't do...?

I would like to hear your opinions.
