My competitor site has 0 post and he is on number 1 page..y??

so my competitor has a site which post is hello world welcome to wordpress.. and his website is indexed on first page?? why so?? why is this happeneing??.. while mine has 10 posts with good keywords and pinged and everything it still doesnt exist on google.. somebody pls explain and we gt same keywords domain basicaly for a show..

You discovered one of those Google flaws. It happens, but it won't stay there for long, don't worry.

Or is it there for some time now?????

its been happening for other sites too that we keep competing for.. we are basically fighting for that tv show traffic .. this is really driving me crazy he just shows up on first page with his pathetic theme and 0 posts while i work to get to second...

yeah but i own one too.. i wish i could show u the link but it wf isnt letting me post links yet... we are doing exactly same..but the stupid sh** is on first page while i am nt even on google.. i really need an explanation fr this pls help..

Just keep working on your site. You'll obviously be able to out rank this site pretty easily.

Like I told, I've seen it happen in Google. It's a flaw and usually it disappears after a couple days.

The only thing you can do is be proactive about it - keep on working.

Don't worry man, Exact Keyword Match domains sometimes get good ranking without any effort. If you are also having exact match domain then do some linkbuilding to homepage and your site will there as well

True, I have a site with keyword.net , and without any problem I am ranking #10 with "0" posts. This keyword has around 2k+ exact searches. It happens man, just keep adding content, sooner or later, things might change for you..

Making your site better then the competitors is the name of the game, in my opinion it's a lot more important than SEO

it's because 1. the domain name contains the keyword
2. the domain name is old
3. there may be some back links to the domain name
and may be : 4 the domain name was registered a long time ago and later re registered.

Exactly. It's either that their site is brand new and is still receiving their QDF bonus (Query Deserves Freshness) which will disappear in the next few weeks, or that the site is very old and is receiving an aged bonus.
