Default Asking for Help Regarding Transferring Domain & Webhosting

Hi Everyone

I am currently having a domain abc.com hosted by Bluehost.
This abc.com is also purchased and registered through Bluehost.

Now I would like to transfer this domain abc.com to Namecheap and also I would like this domain to be hosted by Justhost instead of Bluehost. Eventually I plan to renew my domain abc.com with Namecheap instead of originally bought from Bluehost.

Will such move affect the SEO for my abc.com backlinks that I had built over several months?

Also being new to transferring domain & transferring webhosting, how do I go about step by step to transfer my existing entire WP site files from Bluehost to Justhost?

Hope someone can advise me, thank you .

Regards
Eltara

1st transfer your domain name to namecheap. Once the domain name is completely transferred from bluehost order your new web hosting account from JustHost. Do a full cPanel backup of your BlueHost account and have JustHost restore your cPanel backup for you on your new hosting account. Once you know everything is all set on your new hosting account change your nameservers from bluehost's to justhost's. DO NOT cancel your old hosting account with BlueHost for at least a few days (I'd say wait a whole week) after everything is all set on your new hosting account. The reason is it can take a while for the DNS update to apply worldwide. If you take these steps then there will be no impact on your SEO or negative impact regarding search engines because you website will never be unreachable. Best of luck and if you have any further questions about this process ask here, ask BlueHost, Namecheap, JustHost, or whatever companies you choose to work with.

transfer your domain & then change the nameserver from where you want to host your website.
