Default Many Sites' PR had gone down

Hey Mates,

Have you all noticed that the PR of many popular sites which link builders are using had lost their PR dramatically, Specially, Goarticles.com (dropped to 3), and some other article directories, as well as popular social bookmark sites like folkd.com and etc, Have you all noticed these?

What do you think for this kind of fallen in PR of such sites? Seems, Google restricts more work for SEO Guys,

We need to determine the major factors upon
which a PR would be set.

It's clear that the resulting PR would fluctuate.

I do not understand what are you talking about, How we can DETERMINE the major factors upon the PR would be set, that of course would set by PR, we can just predict it, Aren't we?

Hey guys,

I'm not sure what you are talking about... as far as I know the last Google PR toolbar update was on January 19, 2011!

Has there been another update since then?? If so please let me know.

Neo

This is the result of the Google Panda update.

Neo, today too you can see there is changes in PR of many sites, specially many article directories and bookmarks sites (as far as I know) - Even the PR is reduced in most of the cases, very rare cases it was increased (E.g: Warrior forum had gone to PR5 from PR4)

I've just checked over 20 websites, are you sure that there's been a PR update? A few that I've checked should have seen some movement (up or down).

Can anyone confirm a PR update on their own websites?

As someone told earlier on this thread, I think this is because of Panda??

Maybe it is because of panda. They have made it live now right?

Many of these sites lost their PR's because they were link farms, meaning they has too many outbound links (these are not backlinks). Also, they had low quality content.

I generally catch the updates within hours of them happening, my subconscious tends to look at the PR meter too often so I know when somethings up.

Still haven't seen any reports of a new PR update.

I don't know what you're talking about either. There has been no PR update,
and panda-monium has nothing to do with PR.

Why do you think WF was raised? It's been higher than PR4 for a while.

How on earth do you have so much time on your hands to be
checking sites PR? I see PR6 for folkd.

How do you know how rare a rise in PR is? You couldn't possibly
check each and every site on the web.

A rise in PR rare? Hardly.

Paul

I always thought that PR look ups were significantly delayed. So anywhere you see a Google PR rank could have really already changed.
