How important are niche related backlinks?

My outsourcers have vasts amounts of angela and paul backlinks, should I use those links or should I get them to give me niche related links (therefore it'd be less links due to research time).

So should I go for lots of links with paul and angelas, or should i go fewer and they be niche related?

I would prefer niche related backlinks, because they could even bring you additional targeted traffic. So niche related backlinks are always the best.

The only problem is, that you usually donot get enough niche related backlinks, so you must use unrelated backlinks, too.

Related backlinks are of course gold but they are are usually done manually or completely naturally. If you are buying links related natural links would be very expensive if it is even offered at all. (not sure)

Is giving a backlink to another site simply clicking on a link to it from your site? It couldn't be that easy could it?

I am new to SEO, however look at it in a serch engines eyes, you have a backlink talking about cats, then your site talks about stocks? they look at those and they give you bad rating, or even remove your site its not about quantity but quality.

I use Angela's back links and they work fine with me, I would say mix it up try and get some in your niche if you can and mix them with Paul and Angela back links.
I would also say mix up your back linking strategy also, don't just do forum back links, do some blog comments and maybe some article submissions. try and make your back linking look as natural as possible
