Icann, which is the internet body that oversees TLDs has just announced that it will increase them to words that can include .coke, .nike etc... The price for filing an application will be $185,000 and organizations and companies will have to show that their claim is legitimate. The applications will start being accepted on 01/12/2012. Just wanted to know if this development should matter to us and what your thoughts are on how this will play out. |
