Default I wish, I wish I hadn't killed that fish

- Homer Simpson
As the title suggests, what have you done in the past that you totally regret now or was a big ol waste of time. Here is mine

I was doing keyword research (a few years ago when I was a NOOB) and found a keyword getting a few hundred thousand exact searches a month. I spent a few years building the site and getting backlinks (this is when making money online was a hobby) When I finally hit the front page of google for the keyword I got about 100-200 visits a day to the site!! WTF I was very confused.

Later I found out about the exact radio button

Moral of the story: ALWAYS select exact on the google keyword tool when doing keyword research!!

Yea, when I do keyword reasearch I save the keyword data from broad searches...then I save a separate csv file with exact search data. I made some mistakes in the past by looking at broad search data.

Nothing to see here folks.....move along.

I regret not getting into info product creation sooner.

I was always too afraid...didn't think I could create a product others would want or be able to write a full ebook. So, I continued as a freelance writer, working for upfront pay and providing content that was no doubt improving other people's businesses.

I am at the same stage as you, too scared to release an info product even though I run an authority domain with over 4000 subscribers (it's about my biggest passion in life!) I am working on an e-book but reading your post gave me a bit more motivation to work harder and actually put it out there!

I wish I had started building a list sooner, but other than that I don't really have any regrets in internet marketing.

...Now with females, that's another story.

I regret having spent so much money online before learning internet marketing as I should. I also regret having delayed to become a War Room member.
